Hello Dear Internets,
I want to tell you why I haven’t been posting Saturday Sides terribly often this summer.
An agent has contacted me and asked me to become the personal chef to John Cena and I’ve been so busy cooking for him and looking at him gorgeous arms that I haven’t had any time to blog.
O.k., o.k., fine. That’s not true. BUT, my good friend Paige did just land her first teaching job. And I’m really proud of her. And that’s sort of like me having a job that keeps me too busy to blog. Or not. *shrugs*
The truth of the matter is this – here in Michigan when it’s warm and sunny and gorgeous outside you better take advantage of it because tomorrow it will not be warm and sunny and gorgeous. Tomorrow you might find a polar bear in your back yard. Tomorrow you might be digging your snow mobile out of the snow drift so that you can get down to the corner market for a piece of chocolate because you are going to be spending the next 4 days stuck in the house with all the kids because they can’t get to school or anywhere else for that matter.
So today and most every other day I’ve been outside. At the beach. At the campground. At the pool. Anywhere but inside. Not in my kitchen.
I’m very, very sorry for that. Sort of. I’m sure you understand, because you are just cool that way.
I’ve been thinking of lots of fun things to show you and teach you and as soon as I can park myself inside for more than an hour I’ll do that.
Remember a while back when I gave you the recipe for Green Fries? Well, since then I have taught Hubby how to make them and every chance he gets he makes them. In that post I mentioned wanting to try some crushed red pepper yummy-ness.
Well, Hubby did just that. He used Crushed Red Pepper and Hot Sauce, actually:

And they were awesome. Amen.
